You Never Let Go

“Love is what carries you, for it is always there, even in the dark, or most in the dark, but shining out at times like gold stitches in a piece of embroidery. ”

Feeling a lot like Cinderella this week...

 halfway into this Advent journey... a time of waiting and deep longing...

A time of anticipating a coming King and Kingdom.

Gathering courage to go to the Ball...Remembering who I am but mostly WHO my FATHER is...

Love carries me.

I heard AP sing "You never let go" for the first time last night as part of his Behold the Lamb show.  I only wish I had been able to capture the last verse he so eloquently included in the moment (though it's not part of this recording).  His words made my heart ache as he sang of the King and the coming Kingdom and the the great Wedding Feast.... I'm longing for that land..."I'm gonna go home to the Arms of a Father who never let go"

"Every road that I walk is in the Palm of your hand...
You never let go."

My vision for this piece I'll be finishing (in my ball gown) during the Ball Saturday night is;

a girl in a white dress on the path home...
