A Word From the Author

When I started noticing the beauty of my dropcloths underneath my finished paintings and what it is to decide where to choose to fix my eyes, I began to see the layers and colors my “daily life” and work had left behind and underfoot as a treasure.

The dropcloths began to represent to me vulnerability, community, and being held in a bigger story.

I continue to be captivated by the idea that our truest reality and future hope is the unseen and I’m curious as I read about the gift of the Holy Spirit that connects our hearts’ groans as prayers in alignment with the prayers of the Holy Trinity.
